Our vision is neighbors working together to harvest our fullest potential and cultivate a thriving community that seeks the Kingdom of God.
Sharing Resources | To help people help themselves through access to resources and opportunities.
"And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 23:22
Leadership Development | To establish mentoring relationships to raise up Christian leaders in the neighborhood who will remain in the community to live and lead.
“Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.” Hebrews 13:7
Christ-centered Empowerment | To become what God has created us to be as we are present with each other and grow closer together.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
Neighboring | To commit to living and investing in the neighborhood. To desire for our neighbors what we desire for ourselves and our families.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory…” John 1:14
Listening to Community | To first listen to the dreams and desires of neighbors, and then to build on their inherent skills and assets.
“To answer before listening-that is folly and shame.” Proverbs 18:13
Wholistic Approach | To commit to the wholeness of individuals, families and the neighborhood in every aspect of their lives.
"Don't begin by traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers. And don't try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. Tell them that the kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously.” Matthew 10:5-8.
Reconciliation | To reconcile people to God and to each other through Christ-centered ministries.
"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39
“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9
