Guerry McComas has been a staple in the Nashville food scene for more than 15 years. Before becoming a private chef, his resume included Executive Chef at both The Yellow Porch and the Nashville Restaurant Group, as well as training at the Culinary Institute of America. When creating menus and specials, Guerry believes in following the most direct route from earth to table, and then using classic technique with few ingredients to spotlight the inherent flavor of the food.
The Team at
Dozen Bakery was never intended to make it this long. Originally, it was started as a holiday cookie pop-up business that would exist for the last three months of 2009. Thanks to strong word-of-mouth popularity, some good press, and finding some great help, Dozen continues to this day, and has grown to include a bakery and cafe in Wedgewood-Houston. Dozen is committed to supporting vendors, farmers, and artisans who believe in supporting the local community and who consistently deliver the finest, freshest ingredients available.

After working for seven years as an elementary school teacher, Alex White opened Milk and Honey Food Company to follow her dream of providing meals for families in need. Milk and Honey Food Company is committed to providing quality, healthy, and farm fresh foods to customers while serving and helping those in need, allowing people to come to a "good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey."
Hemingway's Bar & Hideaway
Before he could even drive a car, Larry was picking up skills in his mother's southern Indiana kitchen. After moving to Nashville in 2004, Larry worked in a variety of renown kitchens before becoming the Executive Chef at SILO, and later, Americano. Larry created everything from Southern-influenced dishes using locally-sourced ingredients to spins on traditional Spanish tapas, earning him a StarChefs Rising Star nomination in 2014. Larry now serves as Executive Chef at Hemingway's Bar and Hideaway, where he and his team serve global comfort food in a relaxed environment.
Marcus Johnson is an alto saxophonist rising through the ranks of the smooth jazz scene. As a product of the great music capitol of the world—Nashville, Tennessee—Marcus developed his passion for music at a young age by beginning to play the saxophone at the age of 10. Nashville’s wide range of musical styles and traditions inspired him to develop a unique sound that draws from jazz, R&B, funk, blues, soul and gospel. This contemporary jazz artist also comes from a musical family and found great joy listening to his many musical family members.
Marcus graduated from Tennessee State University where he achieved degrees in Economics and Finance. Throughout his time in college, Marcus made his way around the local club circuit of Nashville, New York, & Houston. Marcus has performed with Elle Varner, Raheem Devaughn, John Legend, Snarky Puppy, Bradford Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Hezekiah Walker, Lyfe Jennings, Bobby Jones Gospel, and many more.
Marcus' debut album entitled “Passion Speaks Louder“ was released in Summer 2015.
