What is Christmas Store?
Christmas Store is an opportunity for Harvest Hands families to shop for new, popular Christmas gifts for their kids at a significantly discounted rate. Parents can browse a wide selection toys, clothes, books, and more, and are able to purchase them for 60-80% off their retail value. Our store provides parents with opportunity, joy, and dignity to go Christmas shopping for their kids at a price that fits their budgets. Our families look forward to this every year, and so do we!
How do I get involved?
We're so grateful for your generosity and willingness to partner with us! Here are a few ways you can be a part of Christmas Store.
1. Go shopping. Consider yourself Santa's elves! We would love to provide you with wish lists* from our students so you know what they want to see most under the tree. Please note that all gifts must be new and not wrapped (we'll take care of that after parents have gone shopping!).
2. Organize a toy drive. Rally your church, coworkers, family, or friends to make a difference this holiday season. We'll gladly arrange a time* with you to pick up toy drive donations if that's what works best. Again, we ask that all gifts be new and not wrapped.
3. Let us shop for you. We know the holidays are busy! If you want to participate but just don't have the time to go shopping, we've got you covered. Simply donate online (be sure to write "Christmas Store" in the comment section) or send us a check (with "Christmas Store" in the memo) and we're happy to shop on your behalf.
We will have more than 100 students and families that benefit from this Christmas Store, so every donation counts!
The 2017 Christmas Store donation deadline is Thursday, December 7.
